You are covered for personal injury by the Tasmanian Motor Accidents Insurance Board (MAIB) which is included in the registration fee.
The bikes are insured against accidental damage which is included in the hire price.
This is the maximum amount you are liable to pay for loss or damage to the bike.
The insurance cover pays for costs exceeding the amount of the excess.
You require a full current motorcycle licence or a current drivers licence with a full motorcycle licence endorsement for any bike and be at least 25 years of age.
If you are from overseas an International Licence is required and a passport for identification.
We accept Bankcard, Mastercard & Visa. EFT payments are accepted as well as EFTPOS transactions.
Personal cheques are welcome when received at least 14 days prior to the hire commencement.
A separate credit card transaction is processed for the security bond when the hire agreement is signed.
This is to cover any charges for fuel, excess kms or damages etc. The damage bond is placed on a credit card, cheques are not accepted, and cash is not kept on the premises.
The damage bond is fully refundable when the motorcycle is returned undamaged, on time and with a full tank of fuel.
